WATERFRONT
The authentic chickee hut, barbecue and entertainment deck overlooks the waterway and the lighthouse. The deep-water dock, just beyond, is in a most desirable area of a
NO WAKE ZONE. It can accommodate a large boat on the 90-foot frontage, less than a 1/2 mile from the inlet, with no bridges between your boat and the Atlantic Ocean.
Attached to the dock is a floating dock that is also a jet-ski ramp.
It is also good for tying up small boats and making easy access to dock at low tide.
Spectacular Snorkeling: This protected area just off the dock is a locally well-known destination for snorkelers. Tropical fish take advantage of the habitats created by the world-renowned oceanographer who resides here.
One can walk down the steps into the water to a safe swimming cove. There is a ramp for small sailboats, kayaks, canoes and paddleboards. A driveway to the waterfront allows access to the boat basin, where a small boat can be launched.
There are two authentic Seminole Indian chickees on the decks - one with a full bar
and swamp misting cooler that can cool from three-to-five degrees or
more with the easterly prevailing breezes.
